• 21 CFR 177.1520 compliant for direct contact with food and beverages; USP Class VI certified
• Excellent chemical resistance; large handles for easy transport
• Steam autoclavable at 121 °C (250 °F); do not engage cap threads when autoclaving
• 83 mm screw cap has a built-in thermoplastic elastomer washer for a positive seal
• Molded-in bung sits low on the carboy for more complete drainage and accepts the easy-to-use spigot
