Dear Lab Guy,
What's the cleaning process for the wash bottles CAT. NO. 800100799?

Hi Abdul!
Lab Guy here!
The process for cleaning any Bel-Art SP Scienceware wash bottles is actually quite easy.
Dispose of any excess liquid in accordance with your local guidelines and then you can wash the bottle and top with any mild, non-abrasive detergent, such as Aquet® Liquid Detergent. Follow this with a thorough rinsing using distilled water. Putting the top on the bottle as you are cleaning lets you squirt through the dispenser for a thorough cleaning.
To avoid scratching the plastic or the printing, do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads. And please always remember, do not autoclave these bottles!
Personally, I also periodically inspect the wash bottles for signs of stress such as cracking, crazing, or whitening of the plastic. When signs of stress are detected, discontinue use and dispose of the bottle again, in accordance with your local guidelines.
Thanks for writing to Lab Guy, and please feel free to write back if I can help in any other way…
Yours in science,
Lab Guy
